Important : Window 10 Support Officially ends 14th October 2025
Windows 10 End of Support
When Microsoft designates an operating system as “end of life,” it means the company will no longer provide technical support, security updates, or bug fixes. For Windows 10, this change takes effect on 14 October 2025. After that date, any newly discovered vulnerabilities will remain unpatched—leaving systems exposed to potential cyber threats and security risks.
What are my options?
Upgrade to Windows 11
The simplest path forward is upgrading to Windows 11. Designed with stronger security, it offers significant improvements over previous versions of Windows. Before upgrading to Windows 11, your computer must meet specific hardware requirements. Without them, the upgrade may not be possible or supported.
Replace your existing computer with New Hardware
For businesses using older devices that don’t support Windows 11, investing in new hardware may be necessary. While this comes with an upfront cost, the long-term advantages—enhanced security, better performance, and continued support—make it a smart investment for future-proofing your operations
Other Options?
One option is switching to a Linux-based operating system. However, this transition can be complex—it involves learning a new environment, and there's no guarantee that your everyday applications will be compatible. While Linux offers flexibility and security, the setup process can be time-consuming and may require technical expertise.
If your PC doesn’t meet the official requirements for Windows 11, there are advanced workarounds that can enable installation. However, these methods are highly technical, time-consuming, and not recommended for casual users. While Microsoft currently allows this approach, future updates may revoke support—meaning there's no long-term guarantee it will continue to work.
Ready to upgrade your PC?
Before making the leap, make sure your system meets four essential requirements: a TPM 2.0 chip, UEFI Secure Boot enabled, a supported processor, and compatibility with your key applications. Microsoft’s PC Health Check tool makes it easy to evaluate your device and confirm upgrade readiness which is available here - PC Health Check
What happens if I don't Upgrade
Staying on Windows 10 can expose your systems to serious risks—including unpatched security flaws, compliance failures, software instability, and a higher chance of cyberattacks. As support winds down, these devices will no longer meet modern security standards, potentially disrupting business operations and putting sensitive data at risk.
Need Support During the Transition?
